Greg Oden In Uniform Listed As Active For Heat Wizards

This is the first time Oden has been listed as active since December of 2009, back when he was a member of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Before tonight, Oden has been listed on the inactive list for every game of the season. He did come out in uniform for preseason and even made a brief on-court performance.

The team moved center Joel Anthony on Wednesday in a three-team trade that also included the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors. Many took that salary-cutting move as an indication that either Oden was healthy or the team had interest in free agent Andrew Bynum. Tonight, we could see glimpses of where Oden stands healthwise.
