Reserve guard Quincy Pondexter will miss the remainder of the season for a stress fracture in his foot, according to a Yahoo! Sports report.

Pondexter agreed to a four-year, $14 million contract after a stellar playoff performance for the Memphis Grizzlies.

In helping the Grizzlies reach the Eastern Conference finals last year for the first time in franchise history, Pondexter averaged 8.9 points per game and shot 45.3 percent from the 3-point line.

His numbers had dipped some this regular season, as he has averaged averaged 6.3 points per game and shot only 32.4 percent from the 3-point line.

Pondexter later jumped on Twitter and confirmed that he will not play again this season.
