Groom Ignores Wife To Play Pubg At His Wedding

Someone then attempts to give the groom a present, but it blocks his view of the game, and so he aggressively pushes it away. Unfazed, the groom keeps playing PUBG and ignoring the world around him at his own wedding.

Since PUBG’s popularity has dipped in other areas of the world, largely replaced by Fortnite, some may scoff at the idea of PUBG addiction. However, the game continues to be massively popular in places like India, and as previously stated, its popularity is seen as a sort of epidemic by some organizations and government bodies.

Since PUBG has exploded in popularity in India, the game has been the focus of some rather bizarre and extreme viral stories. One of the most notable is a viral Facebook post that claims a man left his pregnant wife to play PUBG. While the content of that post has yet to be verified, seeing videos like this one makes it a little easier to believe.

The impact PUBG has had on some adults in India has been the source of some concern, but most seem to be more worried about how it may be influencing children in the region. One Indian publication even accused PUBG of turning kids into psychopaths.

While some of PUBG’s impact is likely being exaggerated, India does seem to have enough of a problem with the game that police have arrested people for playing it. Moving forward, it will be interesting to see how else India reacts to its PUBG problem.
