Episodes contains both DLC packs for Grand Theft Auto 4 - The Lost and The Damned & The Ballad of Gay Tony - but does not require you own the original game. Each episode is its own self-contained adventure that add new weapons and vehicles for you to tear up the streets of Liberty City - as well as new multiplayer game modes.
If you don’t fancy picking up a physical copy of the game, Rockstar will also be releasing the two episodes individually as downloadable content, although you will need a copy of the original game if you intend to play this way.
